Direction matters as much as the map pin
When you call, state that you are on I-95 in Philadelphia and give your direction of travel. Include an exit number, mile marker or nearby sign only if you can identify it safely. Explain whether the vehicle is on the roadway, on a shoulder or on an exit ramp.
A phone location can help, but it may not show the side of the highway or the access needed to reach you. Add your direction and position to any text. Do not walk along the highway to find a marker or take photographs for the towing request.
Share what has already happened
Tell us whether the problem is mechanical, a tire issue or a collision, and whether the vehicle can move. Mention any damage you already know about without going into traffic to inspect it. If police, emergency responders or your roadside program are involved, explain the instructions or arrangements already in place.
We can discuss emergency towing, accident recovery or roadside assistance according to the request. Follow instructions from responders at the scene. Once the immediate situation is addressed, share your preferred delivery address and confirm that the receiving location can accept the vehicle.
GOOD QUESTIONS.STRAIGHT ANSWERS.
Is a location text enough for an I-95 pickup?
Add direction of travel and whether you are on the main roadway, a shoulder or a ramp. A map pin alone may not explain how the vehicle can be reached.
What should I do if a tow is already being coordinated?
Tell us who is arranging it before requesting another vehicle. Follow instructions from responders and check with your roadside program to avoid conflicting arrangements.
